Kendall-Jackson Winery was founded in 1982 by the late Jess Jackson and his wife Barbara Banke. This wine is the flagship wine of the estate. The grapes for this wine are grown in California’s cool climate coastal vineyards in Monterey,
Santa Barbara, Mendocino and Sonoma. The wines are barrel-aged in French and American oak for toastiness and are aged on their lees to add classic creaminess and fatness.
