Vernatsch, also known as Schiava, is a grape grown almost exclsively in Alto Adige (it is also grown in some areas of Germany under the name Trollinger). This Vernatsch is a bright ruby red in colour with a fresh fruity nose with raspberry aromas which are trypical for the grape. The palate has soft red fruits with supple tannins and a long, lasting finish.
