This 97 point vintage will be in stock late 2020.
A complex, balanced, powerful, yet elegant cap classique which intrigues the senses from start to finish. Ripe citrus aromas are supported by apricot, apple and toasted almond nuances. The palate starts off with flavours of fresh and zesty citrus, developing into richer, fleshy yellow stonefruit and nutty notes. The piercing acidity, complex texture and delightfully small bubbles creates a taste experience which leaves the palate begging for more.

“Like the 2012 release - there was no 2013 - the latest release of Cuvée Clive is a Blanc de Blancs, made with Chardonnay from (mostly) Robertson and Darling. It's the latest in a series of stunning bubblies, with 100% barrel fermentation of the base wine, a toasty, tangy palate, some brioche and cashew and a combination of restraint and understated power. Just as good with an extra year in bottle. 97 points”.
