Easy-drinking Gamay from unusual appellation in central France.
The Côte Roannaise is famous for its Gamay, of which this is one, but the area technically runs up to the furthest reaches of the Loire. It's closer to Mâcon and Lyon than it is to Sancerre. As you'd expect from the grape, this is juicy, scarily drinkable and works with just about anything you throw at it.
