Classic Gruner Veltliner with an added twist from this innovative produce: Winemaker Martin Arndorfer has tempered Gruner's sharp-edged acidity, rounding it off by giving the wine just the merest whisper of oak: some of the wine spends a short period ageing in large, old oak barrels, which, along with lees contact lends it a subtle, delicate creamy vanilla note.
