Nestled in a valley at high altitudes, the old vineyards of Courbissac escaped the grubbing up plans of the 90s, contrary to a lot of vineyards in Languedoc. Bought by a Dutch movie producer, the wines were first made by Marc Tempé. Now, Brunnhilde Claux has taken over the winemaking, with her first vintage being 2014. She has worked many years for Gérard Gauby and then a couple at Terroirs Al Limit.
