Grown at 400m, this is a grand-cru Barolo from the parcel Corini Pallaretta. The soils here are limestone, giving the vines the ability to absorb many nutrients and minerals, resulting in a wine which has amazing freshness underneath the aromas and flavours.
The nose is complex, mainly dominated by rose petal and black tea. Notable and pleasant on the palate are flavours of cherry, fresh pomegranite and light red berries lead to a long-lasting, tertiary finish with character and good structure. Barolo is amazingly paired with a rich pasta dish or for those who can, truffles!
