Coming from the middle and bottom portions of the step mountain-side vineyard, the vine plantings are all top clonal varieties, known to give depth and complexity. Aged for 11 months in 2-3-year-old French oak barrels.
This a suave and savoury Pinot Noir with spicy and deep layers of fruit complexity. You can smell that Californian sunshine immediately from the glass! Light cherry red in colour, the oak is well integrated. The wine will take you to flavours of baked blackberry, blueberry tart, pastry crust, juicy cherry and strawberries, cinnamon and baking spices. It has just enough texture to play perfectly with food. Just 200 cases produced.
