A superb example of a non-interventionist qvevri wine made by Jane Okruashvili, the sister of John Okruashvili of Okro's Wines, near the pretty town of Sighnaghi in Kakheti. The vineyards are cultivated organically, without pesticides, weedkillers or other treatments, and the wines are made without sulphur or other additions. Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Starts out funky then develops into full-on fruit.
