G.D. Vajra `Coste e Fossati` Dolcetto d'Alba

Coste & Fossati is a selection of antique biotypes of Dolcetto, selected by Aldo Vajra between 1978 and 1985, and grafted in two of the best vineyards of Bricco di Vergne in Barolo (the vineyard Coste and Fossati). They produce an intense and spiced Dolcetto.

A brilliant deep purple in the glass, this wine shows aromas of black cherries, flowers, with notes of liquorice and menthol. The lively acidity and silky tannins bring an amazing texture to the palate.
