The grapes come from a mixture of the family's vineyards and some from neighbouring friends in the village. A light and fruity rosé with fine acidic structure.
Arnold Holzer, who took over the winemaking aged just 23, represents the fifth generation of his family to farm this small estate in the heart of Wagram. Like his childhood friend Martin Diwald (left), Arnold’s vineyards are dotted around the village of Grossriedenthal. The löss (clay) soils give a pronounced fruitiness to the wines. As well as excellent Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt (which are available in KeyKeg), Arnold makes a renowned Roter Veltliner and other curiosities that never fail to spark interest.
