On the palate, it has an exciting combination of white pepper, cassis, dried blueberry and dried cherry with a little bit of coffee and cacao. The finish is long and adds a nice contrast of spicy gamey flavours and a bit of fine tannin against a mineral. A fantastic example of aged American Cabernet now starting to develop into secondary and tertiary flavours.
