Domaine Patrick Baudouin, Coteaux du Layon-Les Bruandières, 75cl
Terroir: Ardenay hamlet north of Layon with soil of volcanic rock, shale, sandstone, coal
Vinification: 100% de-stemmed , maceration by infusion, délestage, 40 days alcoholic fermentation in tank. Gentle pressing. Aged for 12 months in Burgundian oak barrels (2-4 years old). 4 months blending and settling in tank before bottling in spring.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Franc (may have some Cabernet Sauvignon, depending on vintage)
