Domaine Les Bruyères, IGP Collines Rhoda “Les Petites Bêtises”, 6 Bottle Case 75cl

Equivalent Bottle Price £23.59

Shiny yellow; the nose appeals via apricot, white fruits, white peach, has a floral presence. Salted threads run through the palate, the length good. This has character, is good solo drinking, w.o.w., aromatic wine. It’s well prompted by its good little cut, and there are joli white fruits central to it. 12.5°.

Domaine Les Bruyères has been in David’s family since the 18th century. Passed down from generation to the next, he started making wine with his mum after finishing his studies in 2000. He bought new plots, bringing the estate up to 20 hectares – plus 8 hectares farmed by a friends, and converted to organic soon after. From 2003, he converted to biodynamics. All fruit is destemmed and then fermented in either old oak, steel or huge cement eggs.

A few must haves
