A complex, full and minerally organic French white from Minervois in the Languedoc. The name L'Inattendu means 'Unexpected' which is quite apt for this richly textured white has more giong on than might be anticipated. Grenache Blanc along with a bit of Maccabeu is what goes into this really rather complex and multi-layered numer. It's fermented and aged on its lees for 12 months in large oak barrels. The result is a dry and rich wine with a good balance of fresh, minerality and savouriness. There are also some welcome floral notes accompanied by a subtle honey and nuttiness.
