Bruno Ciofi, "Ze Bulle" Sparkling Rosé, 6 Bottle Case 75cl

A darkly-coloured, softly sparkling rosé. The modest residual sugar adds to the complexity of this incredible bottle.

Ze Bulle is made by a unique and original method which was invented by Philippe Gourdon of Château La Tour Grise. All the carbon gas and all the aromas generated during the fermentation process are recharged into the wines before bottling.

A blend of 70% Cabernet Franc, 15% Grolleau Noir and 15% Gamay from biodynamically farmed vineyards.

Bruno Ciofi started his career as a winemaker at Domaine Pierre Frick, (one of the pioneers of biodynamic farming and natural wine making in Alsace). After 13 years of experience, Bruno moved to Arbois (Jura) in 2008 and worked for Domaine de la Pinte until 2016.

Bruno brought biodynamic farming to the vineyards in 2009 (Domaine de la Pinte has been organic since 1999). After moving to Anjou to start a new life with his wife Virginie (daughter of Nicolas Joly) Bruno founded “Béret et Compagnie” on his own to work as a negociant and assist small producers in the Loire Valley who make wine naturally, but who do not have the resources to independently bottle or commercialize their wines. Béret et Compagnie selects only grapes or wines from biodynamic/biologic vineyards, and also supports converting their vineyards from conventional farming to natural farming.
