Production
Made from old vine Marsanne from the South of the appellation grown on limestone scree and granite soils. The wine is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel before being racked into 400L oak barrels and aged for 8 months on fine lees. Around 10% of the wine has undergone malolactic fermentation.
Tasting notes
Intense and expressive, old vine Marsanne grown on granite which adds a 'tension' to the ripe rich fruit and balances the subtle oak.
Food match
The wine has structure and power to pair with roast veal or pork tenderloin with Provençal vegetables.
