A blend of hand-harvested Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano from 35 to 40-year-old vines from the top ‘El Rincón’ parcel within the spectacular Viña Lanciano single vineyard. ‘A Mano’ translates as ‘by hand’ and is a nod to the fact that the grapes go through a vigorous and labour intensive sorting process by berry.
Deep cherry red in colour. On the nose, there are complex aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and blackcurrant married with layers of cocoa, sweet spice and tobacco. This wine exhibits an earthy minerality, a common characteristic of wines made from grapes grown on ‘Viña Lanciano’ estate. Full bodied and rich on the palate with velvety tannins and a long, harmonious and elegant finish.
