The House Pinot Noir from Big Table Farm is their entry red wine and an introduction to their overall style, quality and finesse. Light ruby in colour, the nose has a mineral, wet stone quality alongside raspberry and red currant. This is a delicate and gentle wine, akin to the French style of pinot noir. It does not shout for attention or jump out of the glass at you; the palate has a generous dollop of berries & fresh cream. Black and red cherries, clove, black fruits and again something that is in all of the Big Table Farm wines, an undertone of complex earthiness. Layered, complex, moreish, elegant and all pinned together with vibrant minerality. A superb example of what Oregon can produce from Pinot Noir.
