Anne Santi, Acqua della Serpa Bianco 75cl

Francesco Anne Santi uses amphora and stainless steel to create wines without compromises. Based in Valnerina, Umbria, he marries biodynamics, indigenous grapes and a proper hands-on approach to create wines that really jump out the glass.

This blew us away. The wine spends 10 months on skins in amphora and a further three months in 50L glass vats. Fresh, savoury, minerality and a finish that goes well into next week. Only 1000 bottles made.
