For this wine, the Riesling comes from Monterey County where the growing season is long and cool, adding intricate layers of apricot, almond, and honeysuckle. The vineyard soils on the Northeast side of the valley are DCG, decomposed granite whereas the vineyard soils on the southwest side of the valley are alluvial benchland over an ancient river bed. This fresh wine is deliciously crisp with vibrant fruit aromas and subtle spice notes. It has layers of apricot, peach and Anjou pear intermingle with bursts of aromatic jasmine delivering a delightful finish.
