Boutique winery Mt Difficulty was an early pioneer in the region. With their founding vineyards established in 1992, Mt Difficulty owns some of the oldest vines and is one of the most respected producers in Central Otago. Tasting Notes
From the mountainous region of Central Otago in New Zealand`s south island, which is famous for the production of aromatic white wines. This is a typical concentrated and aromatic Sauvigon Blanc from Central Otago, the nose is a fruit cocktail of aromas including white pear, passionfruit and melon. Intense passionfruit, citrus, grass and gooseberry explode on the palate leading to a lovely rich, textured and dry finish.
Food
A great aperitif, this will go well with grilled chicken and lemon sauce, and lightly grilled snapper.
