From southwestern facing vines, the grapes comes from 50 year old vines in a small plot called Vigna Loretta within the Ovello Cru of Barbaresco. The wine is aged in large, 20 hectoliter German and Austrian oak casks for 2 years.
Powerful yet has elegance. Dark fruits with rounded mid palate with great length. Nice ripe tannins. Fantastic purity.
