Louis Jadot purchased the Château des Jacques estate in Moulin à Vent at the end of 1996. The estate is well known as one of the most prestigious in Beaujolais and is made up of 6 different "clos" totalling 28.78 ha, which are now all vinified separately

Vintage

The 2016 vintage has not been an easy one in Beaujolais. The capricious weather in spring created difficult conditions for the winegrowers. However, summer was splendid and the weeks leading to the harvest were hot and dry, which offered ideal conditions to the vines to finish ripening and reach a good health.
