Bourcier Martinot is known for producing steely, mineral-laced Chardonnays. This is a great white Burgundian wine that is excellent value for money considering where it is from and the care that is taken to make this wine. Saint-Véran is the southernmost appellation of the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, next to Pouilly-Fuissé snd is known as one of the top AOCs of the Macon sub-region.
Their St Veran parcel gives you a fresh, smooth and expressive look into Burgundy. it has lovely peachy flavours with a streak of minerality.
(thanks to the clay-limestone plot its grown on). An excellent aperitif wine but also a good match for white meats, dishes with a creamy sauce and soups.
