Aged for 36 months in small oak barrels, refined six months in egg-shaped unglazed cement vats, plus a further six months in the bottle. Deep ruby red in colour with a rich, persistent bouquet, with hints of violet. This is a big wine that will stand out on any table and that will only get better with age – recommended to decant at least 2 hours before serving. You can expect this wine to last at least 25-30 years if stored correctly.
